Jason Miller, Donald Trump’s shut aide and former marketing campaign supervisor, claimed Melania “said she loves” the truth that her husband is not on social media. Last month, Mr Trump was banned from Twitter and Facebook after the previous President’s supporters stormed Capitol Hill.

But the social media bans are stated to have been factor for Mr Trump.

Mr Miller advised The Sunday Times: “The president has said he feels happier now than he’s been in some time.

“He’s said that not being on social media, and not being subject to the hateful echo chamber that social media too frequently becomes, has actually been good.

“That’s something the first lady has backed up as well. She has said she loves it, that he’s much happier and is enjoying himself much more.”

While nonetheless the US President, Mr Trump was completely banned from Twitter over dangers of “further incitement of violence”.
