The disturbing footage, taken on Adam’s bike helmet digital camera, exhibits the 34-year-old dad begging police for assist as flames could be coming from his automobile, parked exterior.

Speaking on the cellphone in the clip, Adam says: “The riot, they have started to target my house, I’ve got two children inside the house, can you hear me, the riot from Waun-Wen they’re targeting my house. They are chucking bricks through my house.”

“What’s going on?,” the girl replies.

“They are throwing bricks at my house, I’ve got two children inside, please come. There’s a mob outside they’re throwing stones, bricks, there’s three cars on fire. Come quick I have two children inside one of them is a baby, they are throwing bricks through my window, my car is outside in front of my house burning up.”

A brick is then thrown via the entrance door.

“I’m having bricks thrown at me, what do you want me to do.”

“I want you to take yourself away from the window,” the girl provides.

A video taken later at round 11.30pm on the night of the riots exhibits Uber Eats driver Adam Romain approaching officers in a van earlier than merely asking “where were the police”.

In the video footage, Mr Romain could be heard asking officers: “Where have you been, why were you not here, what excuse have you got to turn up three hours later? I had to stand there and take bricks while my baby was inside the house. Where were you?” The police can then be seen driving away from the scene.

The gathering had initially been organised as a tribute to Ethan Powell, 19, who had collapsed and later died after watching his beloved Swansea City play Barnsley in a Championship Play-Off.

And the scenes have saddened Adam, who moved to the world in 2017, together with his accomplice and kids, at present aged 4 and one.

He mentioned: “We are looking to move elsewhere, we are just going to leave Swansea completely, that’s the main focus. I can’t sit in that living room anymore with my children playing there with the thought that a brick could come through the window at any point. Especially now I’ve put myself out there, I’m more recognised now, we fear in the future there will be some level of retaliation.

“[We’re] attempting to maintain the children distracted and put the items again collectively.

“My partner is holding up, she’s finding the strength somewhere to keep going. I haven’t gone back to work these last few days, she’s too afraid for me to go out at the moment. There’s all sorts of emotions flying around, the poor lady next door to me was petrified, absolutely petrified. Everybody is fearing for their kids, some people have left already. It’s understandable.

“I am unable to put my kids via that anymore, I am unable to danger it. What makes it worse is that we had fairly a extreme occasion simply two months earlier to this when anyone had thrown a automobile down the hill via the barrier and smashed into two vehicles.”

South Wales Police were asked to comment on the new footage from inside Adam’s home, including why he did not receive a visit from the police at the time of the incident, or for several hours afterwards. But WalesOnline was directed to an interview provided by assistant chief constable Jenny Gilmer on Friday, May 21, when she responded to questions put to her over the force’s response to the major disturbance in Swansea.

The senior officer said about 60 officers were present at the scene “at its peak” and remained “all night time”.

Police said this week that they were expecting to make more arrests over the “despicable” scenes of violence in elements of Swansea final week.

Over the weekend, seven folks, together with a 16-year-old boy, had been detained in join with the violence.

Of the seven who’ve been arrested, two – aged 21 and 23 – stay in police custody and 5 have been launched on bail with plenty of strict circumstances together with a night-time curfew.
