Mr Wootton wrote in his newest column within the MailOnline: “The quality of life in the world’s greatest city has been decimated these past five years and it’s impossible to cry foul any longer when it’s referred to as Lawless London.”

He continued to say how there may be “less than 24 hours to save London” by voting out Mr Khan.

Mr Wootton continued: “Sadiq Khan has had five years (one of them for free when the election was delayed because of the pandemic) to make London better.

“He’s failed on each depend and continues to blame everybody apart from himself.

“It’s high time he gets mugged off by London voters.”

In his column, Mr Wootton claimed there are solely two viable candidates for the following London Mayor; Tory candidate Shaun Bailey and Laurence Fox.

Last month, Mr Bailey launched a scathing assault on Mr Khan claiming “crime is out of control” throughout the capital.

He tweeted: “Crime is out of control in London.

“I’ve been a youth employee for 20 years.

“I know how to address the causes of crime.”
