David de Gea disagrees with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over Man Utd defeat to Aston Villa

Manchester United primary David de Gea defined that the Red Devils can have ‘no excuses’ after they had been overwhelmed in controversial style by Aston Villa at Old Trafford.

United supervisor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer bemoaned the very fact Kortney Hause’s last-gasp header was not chalked off for offside after he felt that Ollie Watkins was standing in De Gea’s line of sight.

“The goal is offside, as Hause heads it Watkins is actually touching David so he is impeding with him,” the United boss complained.

“I can’t see the consistency anywhere with the VAR and the decision making.”

However, De Gea as an alternative opted to take extra duty.

And he claimed that United should win video games of this ilk if they’re to mount a critical title tilt this season.

“It’s a very disappointing day for us,” De Gea advised MUTV. “But I think there are no excuses today.

“We had been enjoying at dwelling with confidence and if we wish to win large trophies just like the Premier League, we want to win most of these video games.”

The Spanish shot-stopper went on to address the late goal he conceded, though he did not appear as incensed as his manager.

“We conceded from a set-piece and I noticed the replay and possibly it is offside. He [Watkins] was very shut to me. Again that occurs.

“It’s a hard one to take. Now we have to be ready for the next one.”

United had the possibility to salvage a degree from the penalty spot in stoppage time, however Bruno Fernandes fired his effort nicely over the crossbar.

After the sport, Solskjaer expressed his annoyance over the conduct of the Aston Villa gamers prior to the penalty being taken.

“First of all the way they get round the penalty spot, get round Bruno and that, that’s not to my liking. Bruno is usually very good in those positions and unfortunately he missed this one.”

He did go on to make clear that he doesn’t really feel the thoughts video games affected Fernandes, claiming: “It doesn’t get in Bruno’s head. He’s strong mentally and he’ll step forward again. The decision (on who takes penalties) is made before the game.”
