Barcelona president Joan LaPorta is confident that Lionel Messi will stay at the Nu Camp beyond his current deal.
The Argentine giant’s contract is set to expire in the summer, and Messi is about to sign a new contract, extending his stay in Catalonia.
However, LaPorta confirmed that he is satisfied that negotiations are moving forward and remains optimistic that the 33-year-old will put pen to paper for a new deal.
