Lord Udi-Lister, a longtime close aide of the Prime Minister, discussed with Finsbury Glover Herring on combining his government role with a private one.

Lord Udi-Lister was the Chief of Staff at No 10 after the departure of Dominic Cummings and Lee Caine in December last year.

Former Treasury officer Dan Rosenfield relieved him of the role in February, freeing him for his new position.

Lord Lister’s reputation as ‘Steady Eddie’ saw him act as a foil silencing Cummings before being knocked out of No 10 in a power struggle with Cami Symonds.
