Frank, who’s in his mid-60s, mentioned he triple checked the realm and the double yellows on Somerleyton Road in Brixton, south London, appeared to cease at what he was certain was a parking bay.

Frank instantly tried to battle the March 27 penalty, which rises to £100 if left unpaid, however his attraction was rejected.

He now needs Lambeth Council, which issued the parking fine, to repaint the highway and erect a transparent signal so different motorists do not get caught out.

“I think it’s unfair,” Frank, who described driving as his “passion”, mentioned.

“I’m doing this all in the name of justice and fairness.”

A spokesperson for Lambeth Council mentioned: “We will further investigate the concerns raised and take any necessary action.”
