The new mum, who goes by she/they pronouns, hit out at Allure journal for an article that was run following an interview with the singer.
The 26-year-old – who welcomed their first youngster, Ender, to the world on July 14 – made it very clear that she won’t be conducting any extra interviews in the close to future due to the unhealthy expertise.
In the since-deleted tweets, Halsey referred to as out the publication for mis-gendering them all through the article and stated: “Hey @Allure_magazine. First your writer made a focal point in my cover story my pronouns and you guys deliberately disrespected them by not using them in the article.
“Then your admin b***ardised a quote the place I talk about the privilege of being the white youngster of a black mum or dad + Intentionally used a portion that was the antithesis of the purpose I used to be making an attempt to make.”
The rant got here after the artist had particularly instructed the reporter that they “hate doing press because I get exploited and misquoted.”
