Strictly: Tilly Ramsay and Nikita talk about their first dance

Gordon Ramsay has gushed that he’s “so proud” of daughter Tilly ahead of her debut on Strictly Come Dancing this night.

The famously indignant chef, 54, ditched his snarling TV persona in favour of a sweet message to his 19-year-old daughter.

Taking to Instagram, he wished the teenager and her professional companion Nikita Kuzmin “the very best of luck” and stated that he was “so proud” of her.

He wrote: “Wishing these two the very best of luck ahead of tonight’s LIVE dance @tillyramsay @nikita__kuzmin @bbcstrictly. So proud of you Tills, love you from your dance coach extraordinaire Dad.”

It comes after the chef was “upset” that Tilly had been paired up with one of the brand new professionals this year.

Tilly had shared the information that she’d be dancing with Nikita, 23, along with her dad on a FaceTime name.

Speaking on the present, TV presenter Tilly stated: “I believe it would be nice to see him dance [on the show].

“He’s actually really upset that I’ve got a new dance partner.”

Tilly has additionally revealed that she and her dad nonetheless planning to movie their hilarious TikTok routines, regardless of Strictly now taking on so much of her time.

Speaking to Radio Times, she revealed that he requested her: “‘But you will still dance with me?’ And I’m like, ‘Maybe you’ll have to go and find a dance partner, Dad.'”

She stated of her mum Tana Ramsay: “I think my mum is really nervous, but excited — and just trying to show the excited part.

But she said despite missing their dance routines, Gordon is very excited to see her in the competition.

She added: “Honestly, day by day, with out fail, I get up to him calling me, taking part in the Strictly theme tune and attempting to dance round my room, and I’m like, ‘No, cease!’

“It’s sweet the first couple of times, but when it gets to a couple of months in, you’re like, ‘Please, stop!'”
