X Factor star Freddie Combs has tragically died aged 49 from kidney failure.

The singer, who appeared on the US model of Simon Cowell’s hit TV expertise present, was mentioned to be surrounded by household and mates when he died at a hospital in Florida, TMZ have reported.

It comes after his spouse Kay mentioned that he had been shedding weight over the previous 11 years, shedding an unimaginable 37 stone after going from 64 stone to 27 stone.

Paying tribute to Freddie, Kay instructed the publication: “I have so much gratitude to be his wife for 25 years and to be his best friend.”

He first appeared on The X Factor throughout the second sequence of the US model, wowing Simon and L.A. Reid together with his rendition of ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’.

Freddie, from North Carolina, was supplied an opportunity on the present as long as he bought wholesome and was in a position to go away his wheelchair, which he vowed to do.
