Davina McCall had the time of her life as she wowed clubbers by recreating an iconic Dirty Dancing move.
The Long Lost Family presenter took a working leap and launched herself into the arms of pal Pearse Egan whereas her boyfriend Michael Douglas watched in amazement.
Davina, 53, and budding actor and comic Pearse, 32, turned pals after she helped him discover his long-lost father in New York.
And she went to his first reside stand-up gig and threw herself into his arms – like Jennifer Gray did with Patrick Swayze to the tune Time Of My Life within the 1987 movie – to congratulate him afterwards.
Dublin-born Pearse, who had no concept the previous Big Brother presenter was going to be there, mentioned: “When I noticed her within the viewers I virtually handed out.
“It was crazy but so typical of her to be there to support me. The Dirty Dancing thing has become something between us.
“You grow close to someone who is helping you find your father and she did that one day when we got some good news during the search and she has kept on doing it.”
The audience at London’s All Star Lanes club applauded wildly when Pearse asked her to “do your Dirty Dancing routine” and she played along. Pearse, who lives in south London, added: “Davina loves that movie and Patrick Swayze. I mean, who doesn’t?”
They met in 2018 when he wrote to ITV’s Long Lost Family.
Pearse had been introduced up in Dublin by his mom Ann, who had him after a fling in New York.
There was little element on his father apart from that he lived there and was Brazilian. But researchers traced him and Pearse was in a position to meet his 65-year-old dad Eddie Santos for the primary time.
